Terms of service

Effective 2 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you, or the organisation you represent (“you”), and SEO NINJA SOFTWARES (“we”, “us”) for the use of GoTrace (the “service”). By creating an account, you accept them.

1. The service

GoTrace is a website analytics service. It measures traffic on websites you add, produces reports, and uses statistical methods and AI models to summarise and explain that data.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate information and verify your email address.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details and API keys secure, and for everything done under your account.
  • You may add team members. You are responsible for their use of the service.

3. Trial

New accounts get a free 30-day trial with access to every feature, within fair usage limits. When the trial ends, the dashboard is locked until you choose a paid plan. Data collected during the trial is kept for a grace period.

4. Plans and payment

  • Plans are prepaid for a month or a year. Prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout, before any discount for your chosen payment method.
  • Payments are made manually by the methods offered at checkout. A plan starts or renews when we confirm receipt of your payment. Plans don't renew automatically; we remind you by email before and after a plan ends.
  • You're responsible for any bank or network fees on your side, and for any taxes that apply to you.
  • If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days and we'll look into it.
  • We may change prices for future periods. Changes never affect a period you have already paid for.

5. Usage limits

Each plan has limits, such as the number of websites, monthly events, data retention, AI analyst questions and a monthly AI budget. If you go over a limit, some features may pause until the next period or until you upgrade. We won't charge you for overages without your agreement.

6. Your data and your visitors

  • You own the data collected on your websites. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.
  • You are responsible for having a lawful basis to measure your website, for your own privacy notice, and for obtaining consent where your law requires it. The service gives you tools for this, such as cookie-free mode, consent mode and Do Not Track support.
  • You must not use the service to collect sensitive personal data, such as health or financial information, through custom events or page URLs.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • add websites you don't own or aren't authorised to measure;
  • use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights or harm visitors;
  • try to access other customers' data, probe or overload the service, or work around its limits or security;
  • resell the service without our written agreement.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, after notice where that's reasonable.

8. AI-generated content

Briefings, insights and analyst answers are generated automatically from your data. We check that the numbers they contain come from your data, but interpretations and recommendations can still be wrong or incomplete. Use them as guidance and apply your own judgement before acting on them.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may improve or change features. If we remove a major feature you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.

10. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end the agreement if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. After an account ends, its data is deleted according to our retention rules.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes we'll notify account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
